Prayer for You This Year–2018

As many people start the year with a fresh start and New Year’s Resolutions, it’s a time to look toward the upcoming year. The same is true for me. I’ll be participating with my church in a 21 day challenge involving 21 days of prayer, discipline and bible study. During the month of January, I will be spending some time in concentrated prayer. As part of my prayer time, I will be spending time praying for my blog, readers, and subscribers. I plan on praying for each person on my subscriber list individually.

There will be some general areas that I will be praying for each of you, which I’ll detail below. However, I’d also like to take this opportunity to reach out to you and see if you have any specific needs or prayer requests that you would like me to pray about. I would love to hear from you!

You can let me know your requests by:

  1. Posting a comment below (at the bottom of this page)
  2. Sending a message through my contact page by clicking here
  3. Sending me an email at tracy at happyhealthyandprosperous dot com (I have to list the email this way to avoid those crazy spam robots! :P)

I will add your specific requests to my list, and I will commit to praying for you and your needs. If you don’t have any specific needs, please know that you are still being prayed for by name anyway!

General areas I’ll be praying for

  • Spiritual growth and relationship with God and for you to also grow in wisdom stature and favor like Jesus did
  • Health, healing and emotional well-being
  • Relationships with others in your life
  • Work
  • Finances and prosperity
  • Gifts, calling and purpose
  • Direction
  • Strength and courage
  • Peace
  • Open doors for you this year and close the wrong ones
  • Experience God’s love this year

My prayer for you this year…

Lord,

I pray for _____ to have good fortune in everything they do and for their good health—that their everyday affairs prosper, as well as their soul. I also ask that _____ will grow this year in wisdom, stature, and favor just at Jesus did. Please bring any necessary healing and remove any pain (physical or emotional) because your word promises that Jesus carried our pains and by his stripes we are healed.

I pray you help _____ to cultivate iron sharpens iron relationships this year, and help them to be humble, gentle, patient, loving, peaceful, and encouraging in their relationships while also making allowances for each other’s faults.

Please encourage _____ in their work this year. Help _____ to work willingly at whatever they do as though they were working for you rather than people. Establish the work of _____’s hands and give them favor in the workplace.

I pray that you would supply all of _____’s needs so that they will always have what they need at the time they need it and always have more than enough in order to be a blessing to others as well. Additionally for their finances, I pray that you would prosper them and give them wisdom, supernatural favor and increased channels of blessing.

I pray for _____’s gifts, calling, and purpose that you have planted inside of them—that you would help _____ to see the specific gifts and talents that you have placed inside of them. Begin to show them the calling and purpose that you have placed on their life. Show them the best pathway for their life and direct their footsteps. Give them guidance and direction in any areas of their life where they need answers this year.

Help _____ to be strong and courageous, to not be afraid or discouraged, and reassure _____ that you are with them wherever they go. Fill them and guard them with a peace that passes understanding—Let _____’s life be full of peace this year! Open doors that no one can close for _____ this year and close the wrong ones.

Finally, may _____ experience your love in such a real way, and make _____ complete with the fullness of life and power from you! I ask these things based on promises from your word and in the name of your son, Jesus. Amen.
